The Gospel is the good news of God’s grace breaking into the darkness of our world. It tells the big story of God’s creation, the rebellion of humankind against God, the beautiful redemption offered through Jesus Christ’s saving work, and the final restoration of God’s Creation from its brokenness to sin. The life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, is at the core of the Gospel and belief in Him as a personal Lord and Savior is the gift He offers to all who would come and follow him.

At the dead-center of the gospel are three core saving works Christ did on our behalf, that we could not do for ourselves: 1. Christ’s death on the cross, 2. His resurrection and 3. His ascension to Heaven with a promise to come back again for His redeemed people. His death was the punishment for our sins. His resurrection gives the Gospel its power. His ascension shows His glory and His second coming gives us hope in His powerful return.

Jesus died as a substitute for us, taking the punishment we deserved. His sacrifice satisfied God's justice and turned away His righteous anger. At the same time, it showed God's deep love and incredible grace for each and every one of us. Jesus is the only one who can bring us to God—there is no other name by which we can be saved. He compared himself to a gate, that each person through faith should walk through and not only be saved, but come into his kingdom family, His Church.

The cross of Christ is at the heart of all true doctrine (the revelation and teaching given from God himself), and it's through what Jesus has done that we, as saved-sinners, can live to glorify God. Because of this, we want everything in our hearts, our church, and our ministries to be shaped by, rooted in and propelled forward by the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Statement of Faith is a summary of what we believe the Bible teaches about God, humanity past and present, Scripture (The Bible), sin, the church, and more. While we may come from different backgrounds and experiences, and perhaps hold different opinions on important but lesser topics - this shared belief in the Gospel unites us as a church! The Gospel is the Door in which we have all come to know our beautiful Lord and Savior and He leads our church as the Chief Shepherd and King!

We Believe in One God who created all things. The Trinity affirms that God is one in essence yet exists eternally in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, co-eternal, and of the same divine nature. Although the term “Trinity” isn’t found in Scripture, the concept is revealed throughout both the Old and New Testaments. This doctrine is foundational, showing that God is both unified and relational, with each person of the Trinity uniquely involved in creation, salvation, and the ongoing work of sanctification (the process of God’s Spirit making us righteous in character). The Trinity is also the chief example of perfect, relational love. So when we think of God Being Love- truly He is! And it is displayed in the Trinitarian God - One God, three distinct persons.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. Both the Old and New Testaments were divinely inspired and serve as the ultimate guide for faith, life, and godly conduct in all areas of life. Through Scripture, God reveals Himself, His sent Son Jesus, His will for humankind to know Him in relationships, His holy character, and His amazing purposes seen in His Gospel plan, providing clear instruction on how to live in a way that honors Him. We believe the Bible is the final and supreme standard for all Christian belief, practice and missional guidance as a church. We also believe the Bible is the final Authority over the whole congregation of saints both locally and globally, giving us a revelation that is greater than any man’s word. It guides all the spiritual gifts and is the chief filter for godly living within the church and among the culture we live in presently before Christ’s second coming. Ultimately, God’s Word is a Gift! A Lamp to our feet and a transforming Word from Him to trust in always!

Jesus Christ is eternally God. He existed with the Father and the Holy Spirit from the beginning, and through Him all things were created. For the redemption of humanity, He left heaven and, by the power of the Holy Spirit, was born of the virgin Mary. From that moment on, He is forever one person with two natures—fully God and fully man. Only a divine Savior could bridge the gap between God and humanity. Through His sinless life, sacrificial death, and victorious resurrection, Jesus accomplished the work of salvation that only He could fulfill. He promised to not leave us alone in His absence physically on earth, while He is currently in Heaven interceding for His people by the Father’s side. Christ sent us His Holy Spirit - the Spirit of Christ - to live in every follower of Jesus so that His saving work continues to the end of the age through His people. He will return soon at His perfect time.

We believe that salvation is a free gift from God, not something earned by good works or human effort. It comes by grace alone—undeserved and freely given—and is received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Faith can also be describe as an authentic trust and belief in all of who Jesus is and all He has done on our behalf. True faith in Jesus propels us to recognize our desperate need for His cleansing of our sin. True faith propels us to turn 180 degrees from our sin and follow Jesus as our Lord, Savior, and Shepherd. We believe that it is through trusting in who Jesus is and what He has done—His life, death, and resurrection—that we receive forgiveness of sins and are reconciled to God. This truth affirms that salvation is entirely God’s work, highlighting both the sufficiency and exclusivity of Christ as the only way to be saved. Each person’s responsibility is to choose whether to receive the gift of salvation in Jesus or to reject it. It is only His grace that opens our eyes to see this beautiful gift of salvation!

We believe that Jesus Christ will return at the end of time to judge the living and the dead and to establish God’s eternal kingdom. This Second Coming is a central hope of the Christian faith, pointing to the day when Christ will bring justice, renew creation, and grant eternal life to all who belong to Him. We believe His return assures the final victory of good over evil and calls us to live with faithfulness, hope, and readiness.

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ on earth, made up of all believers who have been redeemed by Him. The Church is called to worship God, grow in faith, love one another, and share the good news of Jesus with the world. We believe the Church is both global and local—a spiritual family united in Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit to continue His mission of reconciliation, justice, and transformation in the world. This mission is carried out through intentional discipleship—teaching and equipping believers to grow in the likeness of Christ and equipping them to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).  We believe the Church is the most beautiful, diverse, reflection of God’s intention for humanity when unified under Jesus Christ, the Creator and Redeemer’s headship. We see the reflection of this ultimate picture, as expressed so vividly by John in Revelation 7:9-10 

“…there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” 

The Church is most beautiful when displayed in all its ethnic, linguistic, and geographic diversity- reflecting its unifying Savior and Lord, Jesus. To this we strive in a world with all its sinful divisions and tribalism, as Christ has broken the prejudiced dividing wall and created a new beautiful redeemed people, with redeemed expressions that flow from God’s created diversity.

We believe that the Holy Spirit, who birthed the Church by His Holy fire and presence on the Day of Pentecost- among and in us - is essential to our lives today. God the Holy Spirit indwells and empowers every believer to live boldly for Christ, equips us with spiritual gifts for service, and cultivates His fruit in us to reflect God's character. He is the Presence of God manifest in and through us, leading us into truth, and enabling us to carry out His mission with courage, love, and supernatural grace. 

John 14:17 | Acts 1:8 | 1 Corinthians 12:4-7 | Galatians 5:22-23

We believe that God created us for eternal life and communion with Him. Our response to Jesus Christ in this life determines our eternal destiny—either everlasting life in His presence or eternal separation from Him. We believe that Jesus will return, just as He promised, and there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. Those who have trusted in Christ will enter into the joy and blessing of eternal life with God, while those who have rejected Him will face eternal separation in hell, having turned away from His gift of salvation.

We believe that God is more merciful and more gracious than any of us can actually imagine. These qualities flow from His unconditional love towards us - even while being born far away, enemies of God - all of us spiritually dead in our sin. We believe it's God’s grace and mercy that welcomes EVERY follower of Christ into fellowship with Him and the body of Christ. We are all equally laid low before Jesus with our original sinful condition, but all equally are offered His saving grace and mercy- not as a license to sin more, but to be propelled to a life of right and good living! Why do we emphasize this? Because, this truth is the basis for our church culture. All members of Kingdom Culture, even if given various roles and authorities (such as elders and deacons) or having various gifts and responsibilities - are all equally in need of Jesus. Every hard issue we teach on from God’s Word, is accompanied with the grace from God to be understood and transformed by His grace and wonderful mercy.

We believe that Christian baptism is a public declaration of the believer’s salvation in Christ, identifying with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection symbolized by immersion in water. Baptism is therefore an outward demonstration of the inner transformation that has already taken place at salvation. The Lord’s Supper is the united commemoration by believers of Christ’s death until He comes and should be preceded by a careful self-examination

We believe it is the aim, duty, and privilege of every believer and local church fellowship to glorify God by responding as active participants in the Great Commission call of Jesus Christ to go and make disciples of all nations. We believe the primary focus and priority of this call is centered on efforts that establish, strengthen, and reproduce biblically-based churches, which will then plant churches that plant churches for future generations and God’s glory

At Kingdom Culture, our governance is eldership-led, with Christ as the head of the Church. We are non-denominational and operate independently under the leadership of Jesus. We believe in a plurality of leadership at the eldership level, following the New Testament pattern for local church oversight. We use the term “elder” as a unifying title drawn from three key Greek words used interchangeably in Scripture:

• Presbuteros (elder) emphasizes spiritual maturity and wisdom

• Episkopos (overseer) highlights the role of leadership and oversight

• Poimēn (shepherd or pastor) reflects the heart of caring for and guiding the flock

These three aspects together describe the full function of biblical eldership, and we believe using the term “elder” best captures this comprehensive calling.

Our elders lead with a model of servant leadership, working collaboratively and humbly to guide the church. They are supported by deacons, who serve alongside them in practical ministry. Together—as elders, deacons, and saints (Kingdom Culture congregation)—we seek to faithfully live out our vision of preparing the way for the Lord.

Kingdom Culture is in partnership with an apostolic team called New Covenant Ministries International to help disciple and equip believers to grow in spiritual maturity and follow Jesus wholeheartedly.
