WE EXIST TO “PREPARE THE WAY OF THE LORD”
-
We exist to “Prepare the way of the Lord”. Just as John the Baptist prepared the way for Jesus’ first coming, we as the Church are called to prepare the way for the Lord’s return.
This calling is powerfully expressed in Luke 3:4–6: “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be made low, and the crooked shall become straight, and the rough places shall become level ways, and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.’”
In telling John’s story, Luke quotes from Isaiah 40—a prophetic passage about preparing the way for the Lord. That same call is now ours, and we exist to live this out.
Every one of us at Kingdom Culture is called to prepare the way of the Lord in their own life—daily. Our voices are to cry out in today’s wilderness—raising valleys with truth, leveling mountains through faith in His presence, and straightening what is crooked within us. In doing so, we create a highway for our King—so that His salvation and glory may be revealed in and through us.
Central to preparing the way is proclaiming the gospel. Jesus said in Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” The gospel must go out to every corner of the earth before Jesus returns. This is not optional—it is our mandate. We prepare the way by preaching, sharing, and living the good news. Every conversation, every act of love, every bold proclamation is part of building that highway for our returning King. As we prepare the way of the Lord in our own lives and share the Gospel wherever we go, we will also prepare the way for the Lord in the world around us.

Kingdom Culture is more than a name—it’s a declaration of our purpose as a united Church body. Rooted in Jesus, our King, we desire to see His Kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. A kingdom cannot exist without a king, and in Kingdom Culture, we recognize Jesus as supreme over all. His Kingdom is not defined by buildings or borders, but by His rule and reign in the hearts of His people. Our desire is to live lives daily shaped by His presence and aligned with His values—establishing a culture where God and His redeemed people’s influence transforms the world around us through the Gospel. We are committed to making disciples of all nations, equipping believers to follow Jesus fully, walk in His power, and prepare the way for His return.

Jesus is the perfect expression of grace, truth, and the Father’s love. Everywhere He went, He embodied all three—fully and inseparably where everything He did was to please the Heavenly Father by the Spirit of God. To truly represent Jesus and His Kingdom, we must do the same - obeying all his commandments.
Love without truth doesn’t reflect Jesus.
Grace without love doesn’t reflect Jesus.
Truth without grace or love doesn’t reflect Jesus. As followers of Christ, in how we treat others and in how we live our lives, we are committed to holding grace, truth, and love in equal measure—at all times—because this guiding principle is the way of Jesus, and the way of His Kingdom.
